Sierra and I went to the Desert Botanical Garden, one of our favorite places. They had two concurrent programs going on. Garden after Dark. Using LED sculptures and advanced landscape lighting the garden was transformed into a wonderland. Also Desert Pulse. Using Lidar for time lapse "photography" capturing what happens in the desert in long time pulses. Amazing.

February 16, 2026 - Kartcher Cavern and Bisbee
Sierra and I went to Benson AZ and did the last section of Kartchner Cavern. It was great! It was late in the day but we were not done. We drove to Bisbee and had a quick but delicious dinner there. Checked out downtown, then headed back to Benson to our KOA cabin.
February 15, 2026 - A Trip through the Pima Air and Space Museum
Sierra and I were in Tucson, and I have wanted to return to the Pima Air and Space Museum for a long time. I think we spent five hours there. Really good restaurant.
January 10, 2026 - Home and Garden show
1/10/2026 Sierra and I went to the Big Maricopa County Home and Garden Show at the State Fairgrounds. It was huge and overwhelming as usual. But fun. My main aim was the Tiny House Showcase. I may be in the market for one within the year.
