Broccoli Cassarole

Broccoli Cassarole
This recipe I took out of a newspaper, Suzi Davis was the originator.
Mom loved this cassarole and I made it frequently for her.

1 lb. bunch fresh broccoli
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1 cup seasoned croutons and bread crumbs
1 cup cheddar Cheese, grated.

Steam broccoli until tender, cut into chunks. Empty content of soup into saucepan, add egg and milk. heat to boil.

Layer broccoli in baking dish and pour soup over the top completely covering broccoli. Top with bread crumbs and croutons, then the cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 - 20 min. or until chesse has melted.
