Mint Tea

So many people ask for this recipe that it needs to be posted

4 bags Mint Tea (recommend Plantation Mint)
OPTIONAL 2-3 cups fresh mint leaves, lightly bruised
1 bag Regular Tea (Black)(lipton is fine)
1/2 cup sugar (or to taste)
Steep tea. Remove 1/2 cup tea and heat to near boiling. Add sugar and dissolve. Return tea/sugar water to mix with rest of tea. Chill to make iced tea.

If using the Mr Coffee Tea maker, the trick is to leave the steep valve locked in the "close" position for several minutes, even after the machine turns off. That brings up the intensity of the mint flavor.

You can of course not sweeten the tea, or experiment with your own favorite sweetener.
