Sues Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
3 cups Oats, quick or old fashioned, uncooked.
1 cup raisins
1 cup pecans, chopped.
Heat oven to 350 degrees F
Beast together margarine/butter and sugars until creamy
Add eggs and vanilla, beat well.
Add combined flour, baking soda, spices and salt, mix well
Stir in oats, pecans and raisins, mix well.
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Back 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet, remove to wire rack.
About 4 doz.
